Cingular is a joint venture between
the domestic wireless divisions of AT&T Inc. (NYSE:
T) and BellSouth (NYSE: BLS). AT&T Inc. owns 60
percent of the company and BellSouth owns 40 percent,
based on the value of the assets both contributed to
the venture.
